What exactly is The Pitch?

The Pitch is a high-energy content competition for filmmakers, showrunners, and creative storytellers. It offers you the chance to win a grand prize and secure an exclusive streaming deal with Vision Network — one of the fastest-growing platforms for bold, original content.

What kind of content can I submit?

We’re looking for:

Short films

TV show pilots

Concept reels/sizzle reels

Scripted or unscripted projects

Your project can be finished or in a polished concept stage — as long as it showcases your storytelling and production potential.

Do I need to be an experienced filmmaker to enter?

Not at all. The Pitch is open to newcomers, independents, and rising creatives as well as seasoned professionals. If you’ve got a compelling story and the vision to bring it to life — we want to see it.

What’s the grand prize?

The winning creator will receive a grand prize package that includes:

An exclusive streaming deal with Vision Network

A promotional feature campaign

Professional development opportunities and industry exposure

Is there an entry fee?

Yes, a small entry fee of $49.99 helps support our review and judging process. All fees are non-refundable.

What is the deadline to submit?

 All entries must be received by August 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST.]

How do I submit my project?

Complete the submission form, upload your project, and you’re in. Make sure your files are in accepted formats and that your pitch materials are clearly labeled.

Who judges the submissions?

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals, executive producers, and content acquisition specialists from Vision Network and its partner organizations.

When will winners be announced?

Finalists will be notified by September 1. 2025, and the grand prize winner will be revealed during our official Pitch Showcase Event, streamed live on Vision Network.

Can I submit more than one project?

Yes! If you have multiple stories to tell, go for it. Each submission must be entered separately with its own entry form and fee.

Will I retain the rights to my work?

Yes. All creators retain ownership of their intellectual property. If selected for streaming, Vision Network will offer a distribution agreement, which you’ll have the option to review before proceeding.
